We were first approached by Milk Leisure in November 2017 with an exciting sauna project that they wanted to construct in solid wood. They came to Waywood because they wanted to work with a company that had the skill set and experience to integrate all of the required design and manufacturing processes together under one roof.
We agreed that Waywood would produce the concept model with direction from Milk leisure, fully productionise the finished design and manufacture the whole interior in component form. Milk Leisure took responsibility for sourcing the timber and producing solid blanks for CNC machining, and assembly and installation of the final build.
The concept model was approved in January 2018, with machining commencing a few months later. The fantastic final installation was completed in October 2018.
